Bengong Black Review: A Sweets Paradise

Bengong is the premium version of Bengong's Tea & Bakery, which was first opened in Burwood. The store already has several locations with Darling Square being the latest edition of them all. Decked in black, the interior creates a luxurious feeling that will be sure to entice you into the store. You won't regret heading in as you will be treated to all sorts of goodness from ice creams to bread. If you need a sugar hit, this is definitely the place to go!

How cute does the mini milk tea look! From my experience, I'm normally not a huge fan of oolong drinks but this blew me away with how amazing it tastes. Sugar and ice levels are adjustable but what's really cool are the tea cube toppings which you can choose up to two flavours. Strawberry, Peach, Lychee, Coffee, Coconut and a mystery flavour. It's a bold statement to make but pearls are out, in with the tea cubes!

I love how creative they are with combining fruit with bread.  The melon bread is filled with melon flavoured cream and honeydew balls that could probably pass as a meal rather than a dessert. Seasonal fruit contributes to the freshness and the end result is a product that is unique and delicious to eat. There are several flavours of these breads hence I recommend sharing with friends to try them all.

I don't have a favourite bakery in Sydney but now I can confirm that Bengong Black has taken the top spot. Although bubble teas aren't considered their specialty, I would say that they are able to rival against some of the big bubble tea chain stores in the CBD.

Darling Square has officially opened its doors to the public starting from yesterday and to celebrate, Bengong had 50% all items and 25% off cakes. Discounts vary everyday until the 4th August so don't miss out!
