Ryo's Noodles: Most Authentic Ramen in Sydney!

Rumour has it that there's a little gem hidden in Crows Nest that's considered to be the most authentic ramen place in Sydney. It is no secret that Ryo's Noodles is extremely popular to the point of having to queue up. I have heard this is a daily occurrence up till closing time! Of course when we finally arrived, it was no exception and we had to wait 40 minutes before being seated.

The spicy ramen may look intimidating because of its appearance but it was rather mild. The ramen was a thicker type of noodle that was cooked to al dente. As I took my first bite of roast pork, I knew this place was on another level.  Thick and generous portions of pork along with the ajitsuke tamago or the soft boiled egg were provided to complete the toppings for the ramen. It was absolutely delicious! 

As the name suggests, ramen is their specialty. The pork bun was good but rather ordinary and I'd probably not purchase it again. I was just too hungry at the time and demolished it without taking a photo. Whoops! 

Food came out quickly and staff were friendly. Pricing is comparable to Ippudo but in terms of quality, Ryo's Noodles exceeds in all other aspects. Also unlike Ippudo which has various locations across Sydney, Ryo's Noodles is only available in Crows Nest.

Can't believe it took me this long to discover this amazing place! It’s currently my favourite ramen place along with Gogyo. If you love ramen as much as I do, you need to come check this place out! Take note that if you want to avoid the queue, it may be better to come during lunch time on weekdays.
